Overview

The ideal multi-mode microplate reader for research

The FLUOstar® Omega is a multimode microplate reader that can combine UV/Vis absorbance, Fluorescence intensity (incl. FRET and TRF) and Luminescence (incl. BRET) modes. It utilises an ultra-fast UV/Vis spectrometer for absorbance as well as highly sensitive filters for all other detection modes. The FLUOstar® Omega is the ideal plate reader for life science applications.

The upper heating plate of the incubation chamber operates at 0.5 °C more than the lower plate. This prevents condensation build-up on the lid or sealer.

ABS: Absorbance / FI: Fluorescence Intensity / LUM: Luminescence / TRF: Time-resolved Fluorescence FI (incl. FRET and TRF) is the standard detection mode. Other detection modes are optional. FLUOstar Omega can be ordered with filter-based ABS instead of spectrometer-based ABS. LVis Plate requires spectrometer-based ABS to operate.
