ATMOSPHERIC PLASMA SYSTEMS
With the atmospheric plasma technology, gas becomes excited by means of high voltage under ambient pressure that ignites the plasma. The plasma is emitted with compressed air from a nozzle. There are two different atmospheric plasma effects: Activation and Fine Cleaning are accomplished by the reactive particles in the plasma beam.
Atmospheric plasma treatment systems increase surface receptiveness and adhesion to inks, coatings, adhesives, laminates, paints, and more. Surface modification provides manufacturing, assembly and decorating advantages by cleaning, etching and functionalizing surfaces. Atmospheric plasma systems are used mainly for the local pretreatment (cleaning, activation) of polymers, metal, ceramics, glass, hybrid materials. Our atmospheric plasma systems can be robot controlled and can be installed into existing, automated production lines without a large expenditure.
RotaLab provides a wide range high-technology versatile atmospheric plasma systems for research laboratories and industry.
