MICROPLATE READERS

Microplate reader (also known as "plate reader", "microtiter plate reader" or "microplate photometer") is an instrument used to detect and quantify biological, chemical or physical events of samples in microtiter plates. They are widely used in research, drug discovery, bioassay validation, quality control and manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry and academic organizations.

RotaLab provides single-mode readers (only with Absorbance or Nephelometry mode) and multi-mode readers. Our multi-mode readers can be equipped with up to seven detection modes; Absorbance, Fluorescence intensity (incl. FRET), Luminescence (incl. BRET), Fluorescence polarization, Time-resolved fluorescence (TRF), Time-resolved FRET (TR-FRET) and Alpha Technology (AlphaScreen^®/AlphaLISA^®/AlphaPlex™).

Our microplate readers have received certification from reagent companies for their outstanding performance with various assay technologies such as HTRF^®, LanthaScreen^®, Transcreener^® FI, Transcreener^® FP, Transcreener^® TR-FRET, DLR™ Assay System and MycoAlert™. In addition, the software for our microplate readers comes standard with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Our microplate readers are all Made in Germany and represent the highest quality currently available on the market.
