ARC LAMP LIGHT SOURCES
An arc lamp or arc light is a lamp that produces light by an electric arc (also called as a "voltaic arc").
Arc lamp light sources have high ultraviolet and visible output with some prominent lines in the near infrared, which make them useful for many spectroscopy applications. The small, bright arcs have significant advantages for collimation and intense irradiation.
RotaLab's product range includes a variety of xenon arc lamp light sources that come with all the components required to perform high-quality research: power supply, arc lamp housing, output optics, and xenon lamp. Our systems can support a wide range of arc lamps (xenon, mercury-xenon...etc.) and also Quartz Tungsten Halogen (QTH) lamps. Lamp power can range from as low as 75 W to greater than 6000 W.
Our arc lamp light sources feature a configurable housing capable of being operated in the vertical or horizontal position. Each housing comes with adjustable base plates for both configurations, allowing easy alignment of the lamp to the rest of the optical system.
