TUNABLE LIGHT SOURCES

Tunable light sources are pre-aligned, pre-assembled illumination systems capable of outputting monochromatic light from 200-2500 nm with a very high wavelength accuracy, reproducibility, and optical resolution up to 0.2 nm over UV-VIS spectral range, and 0.4 nm over NIR-MIR.

RotaLab's product range includes a variety of tunable light sources. The main components of the systems (light source and monochromator) can be changed. Available light sources include continuous Xe lamps from 75 W to 1.0 kW, QTH lamps from 50 W to 500 W, dual deuterium/QTH sources and infrared sources. Optional monochromators and optional upgrades such as iris, shutter, output pinhole, motorized slit, light feedback, power meter are available.

Our systems offer different output options such as different focusing and collimating beams, different coupling with fibers/bundles or coupling with different optical devices. In our fully automated systems, all components (slit, shutter, iris, monochromator, power supply...etc.) are motorized.
